Word Pop Fiesta: Words That Work for the Level

Word Pop Fiesta rewards finding words on a changing board. Length matters, but objectives matter too: a word that collects a needed letter or clears a countdown bomb may be more useful than the longest word you can see.

Trace a word through neighbors

Use at least three letters in any of eight neighboring directions, including diagonals. Do not jump gaps or reuse a tile. Drag and release to submit; dragging is especially useful for longer words because tapping submits from the third selected letter onward.

The bundled dictionary determines acceptance. Invalid words and canceled paths cost no move. You may repeat a word later if the required letters are available again.

Know what length changes

A word earns (length − 2)² × 50 points. Three letters earn 50, four earn 200 and five earn 450. Extra letters removed by a special do not increase the word’s length or its base word score.

Activate specials through a word

Even word lengths from 4 to 10 create horizontal stripes; odd lengths from 5 to 11 create vertical stripes. Twelve or more create a letter bomb. Include a special in a later valid word to activate it.

A letter bomb clears tiles matching the word’s first selected letter, even if the bomb itself occurs later in the path. Specials struck only by another blast disappear without firing. Blasts do not recursively chain.

Read both the objective and the stars

A level may require score, letters, blocks, cages, ingredients or bombs, along with its required star count. For letter collection, only letters directly selected in your word count. A blast can clear the board without collecting the specific letters you need.

  1. Check the objective, required stars and remaining budget.
  2. Look for a word that directly uses target letters or an urgent countdown bomb.
  3. Consider where the last tile will leave a new special.
  4. Submit only after checking the path; there is no Undo.
