Browser storage

What stays on this device—and how to clear it.

Anonymous play does not require an identity cookie. The portal and individual games may store small, separated records in your browser so preferences and local progress can work.

Essential cookies

Optional accounts and administrative tools use secure, essential server-side session cookies. They are not advertising cookies. Signing out or session expiry ends their use.

Portal-local data

Device preferences, up to 12 recent game IDs with coarse dates, up to 64 device favorites, and measurement preference/history are stored under versioned Idea2Play keys. They are not automatically copied to an account.

Game-origin saves

A game may own versioned local saves on its isolated origin. Where cloud saves are unsupported, those records remain on this browser and game origin and are not sent to the portal API.

Optional anonymous measurement

When the server-approved feature is enabled, Settings shows a device-level opt-out. The preference contains no player ID. If the setting cannot be read safely, measurement is off while games remain playable.

Clear controls

Open Settings to separately clear recent games, device favorites, measurement history, or all Idea2Play portal data. Use a game’s Reset control for game-local progress, or your browser’s site-data controls to remove all records for the portal and game origin. Account deletion cannot reach local browser storage.
