Understand what spends a guess

You have five valid, unique guesses. Enter a single word of 2–24 A–Z letters. Unknown words, malformed entries and repeated words spend no shot. An accepted dictionary word does spend one, even if its semantic signal is weak.

Positions come from the current field’s bundled dictionary. They are fixed for that field, not generated during play. Moving the mouse does not steer a landing.

Read both signal and distance

Closeness tells you how far the landing is from the target. Signal describes the connection to the anchors. To win, a landing must be inside the inclusive outer target radius and meet that field’s minimum signal.

Change one idea at a time

Begin by reading all three, four or five anchors and the target’s position relative to them. Choose a word with an explainable connection to the relevant meanings. After its landing, decide which connection you want to strengthen or weaken.

This is a strategy for learning from feedback, not a promise that synonyms move predictably. Coordinates belong to the particular field. More than one word may solve it, and the path lets you compare the guesses already made.

Practice without chasing a perfect center

A qualifying hit wins immediately. The inner circle is an optional bullseye; it does not give an extra shot. Five accepted misses end the attempt. Replay Path reviews the same guesses without spending any shots.

Daily Field follows a UTC schedule, with Practice Field offered if unavailable. Random Field selects another reviewed field when that mode is available. Fixed portal challenges can remove Random Field during the attempt. Restart repeats the target with a cleared path.
