How to play

Goal

Remove every tile by matching pairs of free tiles.

What makes a tile free?: Nothing may cover it, and at least one of its long left or right sides must be open.
Which tiles match?: Most pairs must show the same tile identity.
How do flowers and seasons match?: Any two free flowers match each other, and any two free seasons match each other under the game rules.
Why remove upper tiles?: Upper tiles can cover several lower tiles. removing them may unlock multiple future pairs.
Is every free pair equally useful?: No. Prefer pairs that open new matches and avoid consuming both copies needed to release a blocked pair.
What if no pair is available?: Use the game recovery or reshuffle option when offered. Curio never treats a blocked layout as a rules error.
