How to play

Goal

Connect four of your discs horizontally, vertically, or diagonally before your opponent.

Where does a disc land?: Choose a column. the disc falls into that column's lowest empty space.
Which lines count?: Four connected discs count horizontally, vertically, or along either diagonal.
What should I check first?: Before planning, look for a move that completes your own four immediately.
When must I defend?: If the opponent can connect four on the next turn, block that landing square now.
What is a two-way threat?: A fork creates two different winning moves for your next turn, so one reply cannot stop both.
