How to play

Goal

Claim more completed boxes than your opponent.

What may I draw?: On each turn, claim one unclaimed horizontal or vertical edge between neighbouring dots.
How do I claim a box?: Drawing a box's fourth side claims that box for you.
Why did I move again?: Completing at least one box earns another turn, allowing a chain of captures.
Which edges are risky?: Adding a third side usually lets the opponent complete that box on the next turn.
What is a chain?: Connected nearly-complete boxes can be collected in sequence once their opening edge is conceded.
